Installing WinEdit from a CD-ROM

1. Insert the WinEdit 2000 CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

3. If installation does not begin automatically, click Start on the task bar and select Run.

5. Type D:\Setup (or substitute the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive in place of the D) and press Enter. Follow the instructions onscreen.

Installing WinEdit from a zip file

1. Open the WINEDIT.ZIP file in an extraction program such as WinZip.

3. Double click the Setup.exe file in the list of archive files. Follow the instructions onscreen.

Entering your Registration Information

1. Start WinEdit by clicking Start on the task bar, then clicking Programs, WinEdit, and WinEdit.exe.

3. WinEdit will start. Click on the Help menu, and then click Enter License Information.

5. In the registration dialog box that appears, type your Registration ID in the first entry box, and your Control Number in the second entry box.
